Spire Bushey Hospital Quarter Marathon 13th July at King George Recreation Ground

Welcome to the Spire Bushey Hospital Quarter Marathon. Now in its 22nd year, we are expecting to attract over 500 runners to various runs throughout the 13th July.

We pride ourselves in providing a well organised and safe event at which you will find a truly friendly atmosphere.

Runners of all standards are welcome from top class club athletes to genuine fun runners, joggers or walkers. It doesn't matter how you get round.

The run takes place in King George
Recreation Ground, Bushey. In addition to the runs there will be a small fun fair, why not make it a fun day out for all of the family?

This year we will be supporting The Peace Hospice. The hospice provides special palliative care for people from across South West Hertfordshire with cancer and other teminal illnesses. The care provided is holistic and looks after the whole person, and their family and carers, helping with emotional and spiritual issues as well as physical symptoms. The Peace hospice focuses on enaabling patients to live their lives to the full and providing the best quality of life when a cure is not possible.

It costs £3.1m a year to provide these services and over 75% of this is supported through charitable donations. All of the care provided is free.

Please make every effort to raise a little (or a lot) sponsor money or make a donation by adding to your entry fee.
